Looking for a weekend activity to celebrate Earth Day? We have a forest restoration and maintenance work party coming up. Time
to try to get ahead of all the nasty little invasives that are springing up at
this time of year!
What: Forest Restoration and Maintenance with Friends of Lincoln Park
When: Sunday, April 21st, 9am to noon (Day before Earth
Day!!)
Where: Meet at the kiosk in the NORTH parking lot (Fauntleroy Way
SW and SW Rose St). If you miss us at 9am, check the kiosk map (in the North
lot) to see where we are working. Rain is not a problem, but we do cancel
for high wind warnings.
And don't forget the Fauntleroy Community Association's Celebration of Lincoln Park! There are two wonderful events:
Tuesday, April 23rd (the day after Earth Day!) at the Hall at Fauntleroy we will celebrate the past, present and future of Lincoln. Doors open at 6:30pm. See the West Seattle Blog or our blog for more details.
Saturday, April 27th (the day after James Audubon's birthday!) will be a day of exploration of nature and art in Lincoln Park, beginning at 11am. We will have activities for all ages!
Thank you FCA! Sharon
