Sat Nov 1 Big Day!

Greetings Friends of Lincoln Park. Over the last several months we've worked hard to prepare 4 areas for planting. We've got 200 beautiful plants to put in (with the exception of the rather scraggly yew). Eric will be bringing about 25 more plants. We'll have a big pile of mulch to spread. In other words, we've got a lot of work to do! Join us as we continue to restore Lincoln Park to its native glory!
  • Saturday, Nov 1 9am to noon
  • Meet near the north parking lot kiosk (Fauntleroy Way SW & SW Rose St)
  • Who knows on the weather, dress in NW layers to stay warm and dry with sturdy shoes or boots.
This is a great event for kids, good for your health, good for West Seattle, good for the Planet! Sharon

Sunday Work Party, Oct 19

Greetings Friends of Lincoln Park. Don't you love the rain (or did I say that before)! Yesterday we had 15 young people from the Fauntleroy Church digging blackberries, and the soil was great after the rain. Thanks to Marie and her gang! But we've got lots more to do. Join us!
  • Sunday, Oct 19th 9am to noon
  • Meet near the north parking lot kiosk (Fauntleroy Way SW and SW Rose St)
  • Long sleeves and pants strongly suggested with sturdy shoes or boots
We will be joined by members of the West Seattle U-13 soccer team, we're going to get some work done!

And please put it on your calendar! November 1 will be a special work party. GSP has delivered 200 beautiful plants for us to put in on that day! Sharon
