Saturday work party, April 4

Greetings Friends of Lincoln Park! We have a work party coming up.
  • Saturday, April 4th, 9am to noon
  • Meet near the north parking lot kiosk (Fauntleroy Way SW and SW Rose St)
  • Planning on being drier than our last work party (!!), but dress in NW layers to stay warm and dry. Long sleeves and pants recommended. Sturdy shoes or boots.
The Central Puget Sound Chapter of the Washington Native Plant Society has a very interesting program coming up on Thurs, April 2 at 7pm, Gardening for Butterflies. The monthly meetings are held at the Center for Urban Horticulture at UW. The link below will give you more info. Also check out the plant of the month, enchanter's nightshade (Circaea alpina). Just coming up in Lincoln, lovely little plant, but I didn't know it is reputed to be used to turn people into pigs!
