GREEN SEATTLE DAY!

Greetings Friends of Lincoln Park, Saturday, Nov 7th will be a very important work party for us. It is Green Seattle Day, AND we will be planting 300 native plants in the area just west and a bit south of the ball field at the north end of the park. WE WILL NEED YOUR HELP! This is a great event for kids, a chance to contribute both to their community and to the future of the planet.
  • Saturday, Nov 7th 9am to noon
  • Meet at the north parking lot kiosk (Fauntleroy Way SW and SW Rose St)
  • Dress in NW layers to stay warm and dry. Lots of shovel work, wear sturdy boots or shoes. 
We will have tools and treats!

Nov 7, 2015 - Green Seattle Day!

Mark your calendar! Saturday, Nov 7th is Green Seattle Dayand Lincoln Park will be a part of it! We've been preparing an area for planting for several months. We're ready! We will have 300 beautiful native plants to put in the ground on the 7th. This is a great event for kids, a chance to make real contribution to their community and planet. More details to follow.

Sunday Work Party, Oct 18, 2015

Greetings Friends of Lincoln Park! We have a maintenance work party coming up.
  • Sunday, Oct 18, 9am to noon
  • Meet near the north parking lot kiosk (Fauntleroy Way SW and SW Rose St)
  • Dress in NW layers to stay warm and dry (chance of showers) with sturdy shoes or boots
We will finish up our preparation of the site west of the north ball field in preparation for our BIG FALL PLANTING DAY. That's the annual Green Seattle Day on Nov 7th. We'll have about 300 plants to go in the ground, should be fabulous!
